Service and Craftsmanship
Our Story
Gami served in the US Army in the wake of 9/11. He deployed to Iraq in the first wave of 2003 and came back with scars inside and out. In time, Gami found a love for working with wood as a way to destress and cope with his internal battles. Now, as a police officer, his love for serving country and community and people comes out in his woodworking. It still serves as a way to deal with stress, like smoothing over the edges of a piece of wood.
Eventually, others became interested in his work and asked for his craftsmanship in projects for them. Gami began to make shelves, flags, cutting boards, serving trays, jewelry boxes, book cases, end tables, display cases and other projects for people. He loves creating things that others can enjoy and cherish.
